Please help.

I can't get rid of a bridge connection or another
unwanted connection called "1394 connection", I've tried
all the obvious ways.

We have two machines we are trying to link. I tried just
linking the two but failed.

Thanks

Tony

Hello
1 connection is more then likely the Ethernet and do not need to delete it
just right click on it and uncheck the Bridge this connection link, then
right click it and disable it if you do not want it.
The 1394 connection is the Firewire and it will not need to be deleted
either you will just disable it also if you are not using the Firewire to
connect

Hello
As for networking 2 puters there are different ways, the best is with a
router and ethernet cable (cat5 cable)
Will need more information on your type of connection.
To connect 2 puter via cable then you will need a cross over cable

Thanks for you reply again.

I've tried what you suggested but when I try to disable,
it says I can't because it's currently busy with a
connect or disconnect operation. It's listed as a MAC
Bridge Miniport

Thanks again Haus.

I've got a 3COM hub because I want to plug 4 different
printers into the network as well as the two machines,
instead of keep forgetting to swith them over.

regards,

Tony
