deleting theme favicon

Hi, I would like to add a favicon. I have followed all instructions from
favicon.com. However my site seams to already have one and I can't find it to
deleted it or override it.

Which one comes up? if you go to www.example.com/favicon.ico (replacing
www.example.com with your domain name) does the offending one come up or
yours?
