deleting remants of spy-ware programs

L

Larry T.

There are a couple of spy-ware programs I have gotten that no matter how
many removal programs I run, I end up with a couple of "sys.32 dll files"
that cannot be removed by the programs. I was going to manually remove
these, but am denied access to these files even in safe mode (assume program
is starting even in safe mode).

Same problem at boot sometimes, get a dll error (relating again to
spy-ware), but cannot access the file to manually delete it.

Suggestions?

Create a bootable CD using Bart's PE builder. This will load a limited
version of the windows desktop. You should be able to delete the files
from there: http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/
