I have a number of medical programs on my computer due to being in the
medical field. I want to delete old programs but when I do it doesn't clear
up any disk drive space. Is there a way to delete these programs and recover
disk drive space? Can anyone give me simple instructions?

Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs.

If that doesn't work, reinstall the program, reboot, uninstall the
program, reboot. If that procedure still doesn't remove the program, you
have a question for the program's technical support.

As Ted says you should use Add / Remove Programs to uninstall unwanted
programmes.

Another thought! You should use Disk CleanUp regularly to Empty your Recycle
Bin and
Remove Temporary Internet Files (in all User Profiles ).

Are you using Norton Protected Storage?

How large is your hard disk and how much free space?

Hope this helps.
