Recently I opened a listing in the "Run" section of my
windows browser. I clicked on access because I thought it
was the normal one that is along with xcel, etc. I wanted
to learn more about it. What it was, was not even close!
It was some bad stuff that could be provided to anyone. I
was able to delete it from my start up programs but I
cannot remove it from the "Run" section. I hope you can
help, I just want to remove things completely that I do
not use. I hit delete just to later find that it is listed
somewhere else.

Huv,

If you want to clear the RUN most-recent-used items, follow this registry
tip:

Start/Run/Regedit
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RunMRU.

Delete the value corresponding to the command you want to remove, or remove
all the entries to clear the list
completely.

Ramesh
