Deleting Pictures

Every time I try to delete a picture a copy is produced
and then when I try again a further copy is made. I now
have up to 150 unwanted copies in my "Pictures" file. How
do I get rid of them?

When you want to delete a picture, click on it to highlight it (blue) REMOVE
your finger from the mouse after you click on it and press the delete key.
If you want to delete many pictures. Click on the first one, REMOVE your
finger from the mouse, move the mouse pointer to the last one, click on it,
all pictures between the first and last are now selected. REMOVE your finger
from the mouse. Press the delete button all pictures will be deleted
If you want to delete pictures not in sequence, click on the first picture,
REMOVE your finger from your mouse. Move the mouse to the next picture file
name, hold the Ctrl key down and click on the file name. REMOVE your finger
from your mouse, move the pointer to the next file, hold the Ctrl key down
and click on the file name. Keep doing this, ALWAYS remove your finger from
the mouse before moving the pointer to the next file name you want to
delete. Once all the file names you want to delete are highlighted (blue)
press the delete button.
What you are doing is clicking on a file name while holding the Ctrl key
down and instead of removing your finger from the mouse to go to the next
file you want to click on, you are dragging the file you are clicking on.
This makes copies and copies and copies.
