deleting music files

I'm trying to delete music tracks from my Sonic Record Now library. There are
so many tracks, it's taking longer and longer to sift through the list to
find the actual songs I want to burn to a cd. I would like to dump most of
the old tracks to make burning a cd less time consuming.
When I go into Sonic Record Now, there doesn't seem to be an option to
"delete" files.
Any tips?

Try right clicking on a track or a range of tracks and see if there is a
delete option. I am not experienced with Sonic but WMP is like that. Also
don't forget that there is the list in the library and the actual physical
file. It should give the option of deleting from one or both.

BTW: You can also go to the actual directory (probably My Music by default)
using Windows Explorer and delete the files (tracks). I don't know if Sonic
will automatically update itself.
