Deleting multiple Word Index Entries

Yes, the Replace dialog can do this.

First, make sure you can see the XE entries (they're formatted as
Hidden text, so click the ¶ button so you can see them).

In the Replace dialog, enter the code

^d XE

(The space between the d and the X is intentional.) Leave the Replace
With box empty, and click the Replace All button.
 
Display the XE fields. To remove all XE fields, search for

^19 XE

and replace with nothing.

If you want to search for specific fields, then add the specific text
following the XE in the search term.
