Deleting messages in the Outbox

I have sent a message that is at the moment in my outbox
with a file attachment of 229MB.

I an unable to delete or move the email as a message
appears telling me that once and email is being
transmitted, it cannot be deleted. I have since found
out that there is a routine for this within the actions
drop down menu if you are using a server product ie MS
Exchange Serve, for which I am not.

Can anyone advise on this or direct me to where I can
fine a folder that holds the emails for the outbox.

Put your Outlook in Offline mode by File-> Work Offline
Restart Outlook and delete the message.
Don't forget to put Outlook back in Online mode!
