deleting messages in outbox

i am unable to delete messages in my outlook express
outbox. the message keep getting sent to other people.
do i have a virus? I have mcafee on my computer and it
says it is up to date. thanks

Find and delete Outbox.dbx in your identity's store

Hi John,

Go to Start/Search and type in: Outbox.dbx. When it appears, delete it.

Note: .dbx files are hidden.
