deleting McAfee

In Windows XPsp2:
I am trying to remove 23 McAfee files that still remain after removing
the McAfee program via add/remove.
A "find" search lists these files as Task Objects in C:\RECYCLER and
Application Data
in Documents and Settings
Should I delete these files from windows explorer or can I just go
ahead and delete them from the Search Results window? Is it safe to
remove all these files?

Hi

I recently bought an eMachine, which was preloaded with all kinds of
"bloatware", including McAfee. I uninstalled it from add/remove programs,
then used CCleaner (which is free - scan Issues) - that found alot more
entries and cleaned them up. ATM I'm trying a free trial of TuneUp and that
found even more garbage (mostly AOL stuff). Amazing how much nonsense these
retail machines load on our computers!
