deleting leading zeros

Is there a quick way in Excel to delete leading zeros?
I have a rather lengthy column containing info like the following
01243
1234
15000
035467

I would like to be able to just get rid of all of the leading zeros so that
the column looks like the following:
1243
1234
15000
35467

Also, I am importing this column into access later so I want to make sure
those nasty leading zeros are gone for good not just hidden by formatting.

Any quick tips? Thanks in advance!

One way:

Format the cells as General. Select the column. Choose Data/Text to
Columns. Click Finish.

The OP may need to replace formulas with values first.

Jamie.
