Deleting Home Page Listing??

Someone in our family accidentally made an 'undesirable' website the home
page for out internet but then changed it back before anyone found out.
However, now when we have the 'autocomplete' function on, when we type a web
address, that 'undesirable' site shows up as one of the possibilities because
it is still in the 'home page' drop-down choice list. How can a person remove
that 'home page' choice from the drop-down list? I would also like to be able
to remove some of the other websites that my kids have selected to have as
the home page at various times.

Hi,
These URLs you're seeing are in the index.dat file in the History folder.

CCleaner from http://www.ccleaner.com/ should be able to clear the History
and the index.dat file. Just check the appropriate boxes and run it.

Free History Eraser from
http://smartprotector.com/eraser/free-history-eraser.htm will delete the
History folder (and the index.dat file) and a new one will be created when
you restart.
Or the History folder can be deleted manually:

Hope this helps,
