Deleting History

When I go and hit the clear history button, it clears all
of the pages but one. It does not show up in the pull
down list but when I type the first letter of the
address, it pops up. All of the other deleted histories
don't do this. How can I get rid of this one history URL
which will not delete.

I am using Windows XP and Internet Explorer 6.0 with
service pack 2. Thanks again for all your help..

right-click the one item and use delete

Tried that. Won't work. That one website will not
delete but other web URL's will. Not sure why that
specific one will not delete. When history is cleaned, it
remains. When autocomplete is cleared, it remains. I have
tried everything, and it will not delete.

I had the same problem but fixed it using a free download
from www.privacyeraser.com

other methods & downloads suggested on this board did not
help
