deleting history?

How do I permanently delete history and cookies in IE6, winxp?
I go to IE6>tools>internet options>delete cookies>delete files, +offline
content>clear history. when that's all done, I click ok.
Then I go to another user, and there's my history all over again.
I do the same there to the ones I can (other's have passwords, so I can't
access).
I go back to my own user, and there's the @#$%^&* history again!
Please help before I get into real trouble.

Do not browse porn unless your parents allow it.

Try deleting history manually. Go to View / Explorer Bar / History (or press
ctrl + h)

Delete Days, Weeks on your left side.

One more thing...
Are the urls still in:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs

If you didn't understood post back and I'll try to help.

Maybe he was in a public place ?
What if he was looking at other job proposals at his work ?

Thanks for your help, I'll check that out later. For now, it seems to have
worked after I did it my way a few times.

I'm a parent now, it's the kids that I don't want to browse porn. I'm old
enough to do it, I just don't want them to know it (well they do, I just
dont want them to know how often.)

on the net than to browse women on the streets.

Then he/she should be fired for browsing the internet on the companies time.

I don't think the history is going to be the issue when all the porn dialers
start up.

lavasoft

spybot

would be a start.

You should also look into the binaries in newsgroups as well. Not as easily
traced.

My guess is your kids may know as much or more then you think.
