Deleting History - Clarification

hello ...

I keep seeing that this is where you delete the history
folder:
Example: "C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local
Settings\HISTORY" (referred at this website)

But I log in as the administrator and can't seem to find
reference to this. Can anyone give me a bit of a step by
step or a head start on this?

I am doing this, yet items from my past history are still
showing up via autocomplete. Also, I cannot find my log-
on name, only "default user". Is there something else I
am missing?
