Deleting Future Recurring Meetings

I have recurring appointments in Outlook 2003 and would like to be able to
delete from a point onwards whilst still keeping the past appointments that
were held. When you delete it deletes everything. There is no option for
deleting just future or past.
I have been a Lotus Notes user and this was a feature. Is there a similar
feature in Outlook?

No. Outlook saves space by only having 1 item for a recurring meeting. The
workaround is easy:

Open the recurring meeting and make it END today.
