Deleting from Junk Mail Folder

Have been trying for days to delete 8 messages that are in my junk mail folder.
Any new messages delete fine but those 8 are stuck in place. Can you help?
I'm brand new to Windows Mail.........
 
Claire, try right clicking on the Junk Mail Folder, then click on "Empty
Junk Mail Folder" This worked for me. Sometimes a email comes in that
just fouls things up.
Hope this works for you.
