I cannot't delete files on my rewritable CD. I get the
message the file is a write file only. Any suggestions how
to delete the file from the CD

If you are using the built-in CD Recording program in Windows XP,
it does not have the ability to delete individual files from a CD-RW CD.
You'll need a full-featured CD Recording program, such as Nero,
to accomplish this task.

You can only delete all the files on a CD-RW at once. But
you can get Nero or Roxio and they have utilities that
let you format a CD-RW so you can drag and drop files
using Windows Explorer and you can delete single files as
if it was another HD partition. But be careful these are
buggy and often cause system freezes.
