When I send an unread email from the Inbox to Deleted Items it sends
a copy and leaves a copy in the Inbox. If I delete it a second time,
it deletes it from the Inbox and the Deleted Items folder. How can I
stop this/
How are you "sending" an unread message? Are you highlighting it and
pressing the Delete key, or dragging it? Don't drag it - delete it. If
you're going to drag in general, always right-click & hold, drag & release,
and select either Copy or Move. Much better to know exactly what you're
doing when you click.... the context menu helps.
When you post in here, always include your version, SP level, and mode (if
applicable) of Outlook - you can find this information in Help | About. Also
include the type of mail account(s) you use and any other pertinent details.
