Deleting email messages

Hi, I'm new to this site so please bear with me if I goof up. I have
Outlook Exoress 6 and just recently when I want to delete an email message it
will not delete. I've tried every resource that I could find but I can't seem
to find out what to do to correct this. Hope someone can help me. Thank you
in advance!!
