Deleting datasheet link to Excel in VBA

I posted this under VBA Help. but wound up in someone else's thread.

I have a VBA script that automatically updates all the links in the
presentation datasheets. My problem is that if, at a later date, I attempt
to view the past data, the link (to a CSV file) is updated.

I would like to toggle the link from automatic to manual within the
script. Does anyone know if this is possible? Failing that is there
anyway to break the link from within the script after SavingAs another
PPT?
