I do not have an extensive knowledge of computers. If I
have pictures for backgrounds that I no longer want, how
can I delete them? Or can I do this? Thanks alot, any
help would be greatly appreciated.

Look at the name of the "background". Then find it using Start, Search,
Find files or folders and then delete it. Otherwise just ignore them.

Normally, Windows comes with a certain number of
backgrounds you can choose from. If you've added your
own, you'll need to search for them and delete them from
wherever you stored them. To find the names an easy way,
go into your Display properties (right click on the
desktop, choose properties, go to the Desktop tab and
look at the background file names)
You can use the search / find feature off the start menu
to search for your personal background images, and delete
them. Be CAREFUL when deleting files, so as not to
delete system files.

good luck,
C10
