i've recently defragged my HD because it was high time to do so. Anywayz , after doing so , i found about 250 Mb of MP3's that i couldn't use anymore. I got an error message saying 'cannot find file' , and some time later in the folder a file showed up 'badframes.stt' . I checked my HD but my computer says it's ok. So when i try opening , or even deleting the MP3's , i still get the same frustrating message. I've searched the KB for this , but found nothing. Can someone help me.
(system = 180GB HD , 1GB RAM , Dell 4600 , XP Home , 128MBVRAM)

badframes.stt is bad frames encountered during the encoding process (like
videos and such). Why you're getting it after a defrag doesn't make sense..
can you go command prompt and find that directory?

yes , it spimply shows the mp3's , but i can't do anything with them , not even deleting them. My pc tells me it can't find them if i try to delete them , and they still are shown in that directory. The files are mixes i recorded from the net , they used to work until i defragged my drive.
