Deleting an Array Formula

Excel 2002 - I entered an array formula into an cell. Now
I want to delete that formula, but Excel is telling me
that "You cannot change part of an array". It will not let
me delete/clear the array formula in that cell. Any
suggestions ?

select all cells which contain this array formula prior to deleting the
formula

You have selected more than one cell,
when you entered the formula.
Try selecting 2 cells, then <Delete>
try 3, <Delete> etc.
Sooner or later you're in luck

Just to add. Try selecting your cell, then use the shortcut key...

CTRL+/

To select the array containing the active cell.
