deleting addresses from drop down address bar

how do you delete addresses from drop down address bar on
compuserve main page ? clicking on address and deleting
does not remove them nor does right click delete do
anything.

I've no idea why you're posting this here. CompuServe (like AOHELL) is
completely proprietary and how you do things has nothing to do with Windows.
Suggest you either contact CS direct or RTFH.
