Deleting a custom animation sound PPT 97

I'd be very grateful for some help with this. I've used custom animation to
attach a 'swish' sound to a presentation I've developed. I now want to
delete it, but when I go back to custom animation and cycle through all the
objects, the sound doesn't appear so I can't get rid of it.

This is driving me up the wall here in freezing (but sunny) England. I'm
sure the answer is very obvious, but I've searched the group using google
groups and can't find anything that helps. There is no speaker icon on the
screen - the sound plays as each new slide appears.

Oops - very silly of me - found the solution as soon as went back into my
presentation. The sound was set in 'slide transition', not custom
animation.

Glad to hear you got it sorted out. Isn't that the way it usually
happens? Post your problem, then three minutes later you've found the
solution on your own! (I know it often works that way for me!)
