deleted work sheets - Excel

in excel - Somehow my work sheets have disappeared. How do I recover them?
 
How do you know they are missing?

Don't see any Tab names across bottom of window?

Tools>Options>View. Check "Sheet Tabs"

If not the case, try Format>Sheet>Unhide.

Are they listed there?
