Deleted subfolder

Travis

A large subfolder (named "folders") was accidentally
deleted from personal folders in a shared email file when
Outlook was bein gused in my wife's account. This wasn't
noticed until Outlook was opened in my account.
The "folders" folder now appears in the Deleted Items
folder but shows up as empty. This lost folder had
subfolders as well. No file structure is appearing in
that folder. I am afraid to shut down Outlook, because
that might lose any chance of recovery - if there is a
chance. My last backup is a few weeks old and there is
information in those folders that I need in the next few
days. Any guidance?

Use File->Open and open the backup .pst file and then drag and drop the
folder back to your folder structure. You will have lost any of the files
in the folder since your last backup.

You can also see this site for a possible solution as well:

Thanks Milly. Unfortunately I wasn't aware of the backup
add-in until now. I had an old backup on CD so I was
able to restore the file structure, but I believe the
recent enries are gone forever. The website you cited
was very helpful.

Thanks.
