Deleted Outlook calendar

I have deleted my outlook account by mistake by mistake and because it was
set up by a company that I no longer work for I am unable to reset it. I
have rec9vered my emails but do not know how to recover my calendar. I
believe that it is stored on my hard drive but do not know how to restore it.
I am using Outlook 2003.

What type of account was it? If you used a PST for the data store, then
your Contacts, Tasks, Notes, Calendar, and mail were all in the same file
and if you recovered correctly you would automatically have it all. Tell us
exactly what you did and we can tell you your options.

Not too au fait with this kind of thing but the file which I found and
imported was a .pst file. It has only returned my emails - no contacts and
worst of all for me no calendar.

I have found a .ost file which I thought may have my calendar but can't find
a way to import it.

There is never a reason to import from a PST and many reasons not to do so.
In many cases, importing from a PST will corrupt your mail profile.
Instead, you simply add a PST to a mail profile, either with
File>Open>Outlook Data File or with the Mail applet in Control Panel.
Either way will make all the data in the PST available immediately.

Are you saying you used an Exchange account? Once you delete an Exchange
account, the OST associated with it will no longer be available and cannot
be reconnected to the mail profile (without a System Restore). If you have
an OST, you'll need to acquire an OST to PST converter application, most of
which are not free (Google "convert OST to PST"). There may be a free one
(Google "ost2pst"), but I'm not convinced it's available any more.
