Deleted Local User Profile

L

Long

Is there any way to recover a local user profile? I deleted mine thinking
all I needed was my roaming profile but, unfortunately, I had a pst that was
in the deleted local profile. System restore didn't bring it back and I've
tried data recovery tools as well. Does anyone know of a more comprehensive
tool that I could use or am I screwed? Help!

Thanks in advance...

Hi Long,

Thanks for posting!

Based on your description, if the profile folder is already deleted under
C:\Documents and Settings\<yourlogonname>\ folder, what left is a data
recovery issue.

If there is no new data write to that partition, you may try to use some
third party data recovery tool for a try. I have done a Google search for
free data recovery here:
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=free+data+recovery&bt
nG=Google+Search

You may try some tools as listed.

If these software cannot recovery the data as well, you may need to contact
a professional data recovery company to recovery the data from the
disk/media level.

Hope it helps!
