Deleted Items

I have a user that can not see a deleted read email in the deleted items
folder. When a unread email is deleted it is visible. Also when a folder is
deleted it is also visible in the deleted items folder. If I get the folder
to show the total number of items in the folder it shows the number correctly
but it only lets you view the unread folders. What reason would there be for
this (to delete a read email and it not be visible in the deleted items
folder)??

Is the hide read messages view applied? Look on the view menu - choose the
mssage view to see all items.

What view is he using in the Deleted Items folder? Make sure it's
"Messages".
