#deleted instead of data in linked SQL Server table

I am experiencing the problem outlined in MS
Knowledgebase article 293657:
I have linked via ODBC from Access SQL Server. One of
the tables has fields using the UniqueIdentifier field
type and when opened in access, each cell
shows "#deleted" instead of the data.

The article instructs to update the Jet Engine to SP5 or
later - which I did (SP7) but I am still seeing the same
problem.

Any thought on how to resolve this problem would be
appreciated....

thanks!

Have you deleted the link to the SQL data/table and re-linked? I've noticed
some difficulties getting Access' Refresh Links to work consistently with
all back-end sources.

Good luck
