Deleted Hotmail Contacts with OE

In trying to be more efficient, I was trying to import my Web based
hotmail contacts (about 300) into OE for use there. I clicked on the
synchronize button and realized that all of the incoming contacts had
mixed with the current OE contacts, and I had wanted them separate. So
I just though I would delete all contacts in OE and resynchrozine with
Hotmail. Apparently, that decided to wipe all of my existing Hotmail
Web based contacts. Does anyone have any ideas on if it would even be
possible to recover these web based contacts?

I emailed Hotmail and have not heard back.
