Deleted forms still show up under the search function

I am using FP 2003. FP is used as a forms repository (of sorts) in my org.
These forms are usually Word or Excel docs that users can view, open and
print. I frequently update and replace many of the forms. Lately I have
noticed that when I delete a form from FP it still appears in the search
function. This is causing issues when I replace the form with a different
version number. Can anyone tell me how I can get the deleted form from
popping up under a search?

You need to re-index the search catalog on the server.

If you're web host is using Index Server then you need to have them re-index
the site or recreate the Catalog for your site
