deleted folder

earlier on this evening i think i accidently deleted a folder... it was "MY
RECEIVED FILES" folder... i was in the process of deleting some files in my
"my documents" folder... the file i have lost contained a lot downloaded
things that are very important... the problem is after noticing that i had
put it in the recycle bin...i restored all items, this file never restored...
i have since then tried system restore twice and still the folder is
missing... i have obviously search for certain files that should be in this
folder... but the only thing that is coming out of the search is a missing
shortcut to that folder... is there anything i can do to recover this folder
and the files in it... i hope i have giving you enough information as to what
happened... many thanks karl joy

Karl,

Did you get any help on this? I am missing a folder with subfolders and I
cannot retrieve them and my life is on these. I was trying to install Outlook
help and I told it to install in my folder and then I uninstalled the Outlook
because it was not working. I need to get these files back.

This may be a moot point now, but in the future when you delete something or
empty your Recycle Bin and want to recover something from it... Stop using
the computer now. Your recovery chances are better if the file has not been
overwritten.

This is free.

Restoration Version 2.5.14 Author: Brian Kato

Description
[[Restore files which are deleted from the recycle bin or deleted while
holding down the Shift key by mistake. Conversely, this program has another
function that makes it almost impossible to restore all deleted files. You
can use it after deletion of confidential documents, embarrassing files and
so on.]]
