I ran a virus scan and found 5 infected files. I have
McAfee professional, and the recommendation was to delete
the files because they couldn't be cleaned. I did delete
3 of them and now I'm wondering if that was a mistake.
The files were winsystem.exe, scrgrd.exe and
A0001605.exe. Can anyone tell me if these files are
necessary? If so, is there a way to get them back?

What problem are you now having with your PC? Often files that are
deleted by anti-virus programs are the virus/trojan files themselves.

In a case like this, I hit google search.

For example, winsystem.exe is Blair Worm

Others can be easily searched the same way.
