deleted files

I have had some viruses on my pc and basically I was in a
mess. I had blaster worm, welcha worm and w32swenn@mm
virus in multiple files. I ran all the known fixes and I
removed them sucessfully. However, instead of macafee
cleaning the infected files it deleted them somehow. I am
now really in the shit because half of the stuff on my pc
won't work. I get lots of "cannot find file rundll32.exe"
and lots of others similar. I was gonna format the whole
drive and start afresh but I cannot get into dos and my
recovery disk will not boot the machine. I am now
desperate. Please help!!!!!!!!!!. Do not E mail me direct
as my e mail clients cannot be located. thanks in advance

With all the viruses on your machine, best bet is to format. The recovery
disk should be bootable, (you may have to go into the bios and set the first
boot device to cdrom), but if it's not get an xp bootdisk here:
www.bootdisk.com
Boot to it run fdisk and format. Reinstall xp.
