Deleted emails don't leave inbox

Hi, I am using Outloook 2003. When I delete an email from my inbox, the
message is crossed but it does not leave the Inbox. How can I set it up so
that the message actually leave the inbox once is deleted?

This is normal if you're using an IMAP account. You need to go to Edit |
Purge Deleted.
