Delete transmitting message

How can I delete an outgoing message which is already transmitting? I sent a
rather large attachment and now none of my outgoing will go because it's busy
trying to move this one out of my system.

Did you ever figure how to do this. I now have the same problem and it simply wont delete because it says file is already transmitting. thank you
