I know there has to be a way to delete unused printers with a batch
file, I am currently running a log script containing
rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /in /n "\\FS1\EPSON Stylus Photo
825"
rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /in /n /y "\\PC16\HP LaserJet 2100
PCL6"
this works great, but I have recently switched things around and would
like to delete the OLD printer settings, i tried
rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /dn "\\fs1\HP LaserJet 2100 PCL6"
and got the error message
Operation could not be completed. Either the printer name was typed
incorrectly or the specified printer has lost its connection to the
server
which of course it did loose its connection to the server, is there
any way to delete the old printers listed? I keep finding posts on
using a finding from the resource kit but that's not what i want to
do.
Thanks in advance
