We would like to be able to delete email messages in a particular email
account when it reaches a certain size or delete email messages that are
older then 30 days.

How can we do this?

Exchange 2003 Std. Edition

History: We have a spam account that is getting 10,000 pieces of suspect
junk email daily. This email account we have rules setup to grab a copy of
email messages that arrive that are for certain people, and we save their
email in a folder. Well, the inbox on this account gets pretty big and we
would like to purge it.

If you go into the archive functionality for that particular mailbox or
folder, there are options there to delete messages either once a size limit
has been reached and/or by date range.

Thanks for the help, but I can't find where your directing me to go. Is this
in Outlook or System Manager and where are these options?

In Outlook, right-click Inbox, choose Properties, then the AutoArchive tab.
Specify your time interval there.
