Delete individual URLs from address-bar drop-down ?

Hi,

Have a question re. IE6.

In the address-bar dropdown-list of visited URLs,
is it possible to delete a single URL only, without deleting all of
them?

For text input-fields with saved dropdown-values in a webpage, for
example,
you can just hold the mouse over any item and press the delete-key
to permanently remove an item from the list,
but that apparently does not work in the address-bar.

Any other way to do it?

Thanks,

Hi,
You can manually edit the TypedURLs key in the registry. See this article:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=157729

These two freeware programs will remove some or all entries:
IE Address Bar Editor: http://www.freesoft.fsnet.co.uk/ieedit01.htm
EditURLs: http://www.aandrc.com/editurls/index.htm

Tip: If you type URLs in via File> Open, instead of the address bar, they
aren't saved in the TypedURLs key and you can keep a select few URLs in the
drop-down list.
