delete index.dat files

Does anyone know of a good utility program that can view and delete
index.dat files. From a privacy stand point, these files keep track of your
actions and places that you have visited. WinXP has no such means of viewing
and/or eliminating them.

There is no built-in support. You may use a third-party software such as
History Reader.
