On my old Win ME system I used Outlook Express for email. I had some rules
setup so that a lot of junk was deleted direct from the server and never
even hit my mailbox. Now I'm using Win XP and regular Outlook for email
which doesn't seem to have a similar option available in the rules wizard.

Is there any way to set up message rules in Outlook that will delete certain
messages from my ISP BEFORE the arrive to my computer?

Thanks,
Walt

Earlier today the solution to this posted here under the topic "Re: How
I elliminated "Swen" Email"

Randy M. says (for OE):

Select Tools>Message Rules>Mail>Mail Rules tab>New button>1: Select the
conditions for your rule: Check "Where the TO line contains people, 2:
Select the action for your rule: Check "Delete it from server", 3: Rule
description, Left click "contains people", enter your email addresses at the
blinking cursor, click on Add, click on the Options button, Select "Message
does not contain the people below", click OK, OK, OK, OK. You're done.

I'll try this again.

As I posted, I know what and how to filter emails to "delete from server"
in Outlook Express. As I also posted and my subject line attested to, I
now use Outlook for email instead of OE.

What I posted was:
"Now I'm using Win XP and regular Outlook for email which doesn't seem to

set up message rules in Outlook that will delete certain messages from my
