On Windows XP, in Internet Explorer 6 I can't figure out
how to delete addresses from showing up in the address bar
window. It's so easy on the Mac end, how do I do it on a
PC?

You can right-click the toolbar and Customize it to remove
the address bar, if that's what you want.

Or you can open the Tools->Options menu and click "Delete
History" to get rid of old history items that are hiding
things you want auto-completed. But you'll only get auto-
complete on things in your favorites list or your history,
so you'll have to visit a site before it will enable auto-
complete for that URL. If that's what you want.

Or you can open Tools->Options and select the Advanced tab
and look for the option to disable autocomplete. If
that's what you want.
