Delete Files on Share

1 Windows 2003 Server and 30 Windows XP Professional
Clients.

When a user wants to delete a file on a Shared directory
of the server sometimes the message appeare that the file
is in use and cannot be deleted.
Nobody is using the file. After several tries to delete
the file (4-5 times) it works and the file disapeare.

Any idea?!?

Are you running DFS or Shadow copy?

No. But it's a PDC with Exchange 2003 on it. No Shadow
Copy, No Distributed File System.
