delete drop down box

Dumb question.

I open MSN search go to Yahoo enter something in the
SEARCH THE WEB box hit yahoo search. It comes up,i look
at it and go do something else on the computer,then I
come back to Yahoo Search and put in the first letter of
what I just looked at and it comes up in the drop down
box. How do I delete it.

Hold the cursor over the entry, don't select it, just hold cursor over the
entry to highlight it, then hit the delete key.
Or to delete all the entries at once:
In ie -- tools, internet options, content tab, autocomplete, clear forms.
