I have a few strange website addresses that are stored in my Outlook address
bar history that WILL NOT GO AWAY. Ive tried clearing them through IE (clear
history, cookies, offline, etc), searching for them on my computer, etc. I've
also tried scrolling down to them and pressing delete but I can't get them to
go away. Anyone?

Well, that didn't work. There's still a whole bunch of garbage in there I
can't get rid of. To give you an example of what I'm talking about....
delete whatever's in your Outlook address bar and type "h", wait a few
seconds then push the down arrow. I get tons of stuff on there that won't
clear with any of the several methods I've tried. When I'm in IE, I can
clear all of its history, but it doesn't clear Outlook.

The search didn't return the "NK2" file, even if I had activated the "Show
hiodden files and folders" option. I am using XP SP2 and the file was, for me
at least, still hidden under the \Documents and Settings\my name\Application
Data folder. I had to do the search from that level to find the NK2 file.
Deleting that file does work...

That still didn't do it. It must be tied up and hidden in some other Outlook
file. Thanks for the info though. Please respond if you have any more
suggestions. Additional: All the entried are webpage files, for example:
http://members.home.nl/saen/Special/zoeken.html, which is a website I've been
trying to get out of my history for ever!
