How do you permanently remove addresses from drop down?

May be a ridiculously simple process but I can't see it ...
All I want to do is permanently delete addresses from my OUTLOOK program.
Not from my addrress book as such, but when you enter say an 'a' or any other
letter into the "TO" field and you get the drop down of history or recently
used e-mail addresses ... there are some in there that I'd like to
permanently remove. No need to explain why, just want to clear them out. How?

Highlight the name with your arrow keys and press DELETE.
